10 Days Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Safari package. Travelers taking this tour will also have an opportunity to see the big 5 and other exciting wildlife. This tour is best if done from mid July to early October when the migration cross the Mara river back and forth.
Description
Day 1: Arrival
The begins of 10 Days Serengeti Wildebeest Migration safari. After a long flight from your home,today you will only be transferred to your hotel in Arusha for dinner and overnight at Ambureni coffee lodge.(if time permits, a complimentary town tour can be arranged)
Day 2: Lake Manyara national park/nature walk
After breakfast you will drive to Lake Manyara national park for a nature walk on the periphery of the lake guided by an armed ranger/guide. In the late afternoon you will continue to Eileen’s trees inn for dinner and overnight
Day 3: Serengeti Central
After breakfast drive to Serengeti heritage camp for lunch then continue with game drive in central Serengeti National Park.
Dinner and overnight at Serengeti heritage central Serengeti camp.
Day 4: Serengeti North
After breakfast drive to North Serengeti with picnic lunch, then continue with game drive along the Mara river. The great migration will be along the Mara river and this will be your opportunity to see them crossing the Mara river with crocodiles attacking them. Other animals include hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, warthogs and if you are lucky you may see the endangered black rhino. In the late afternoon you will continue to Serengeti heritage Mara river camp
Day 5: Serengeti North
Morning and afternoon game drive in North Serengeti along the Mara river. All meals and overnight at Serengeti heritage Mara river camp.
Day 6: Serengeti North
Morning and afternoon game drive in North Serengeti along the Mara river. all meals and overnight will be at Serengeti heritage Mara river camp.
Day 7: Ngorongoro
After breakfast you will do game drive towards central Serengeti, then continue to Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight at Rhino lodge on the rim of the crater.
Day 8: Ngorongoro crater/Tarangire
After breakfast depart for a full day of game drive in the Ngorongoro crater with picnic lunch. In the late afternoon you will continue to Tarangire whistling thorn camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Tarangire national park
After breakfast depart for Tarangire game drive with picnic lunch. In the late afternoon you will return to Tarangire whistling thorn camp for dinner.. Overnight will be at Tarangire whistling thorn camp.
Day 10: Arusha/Departure
After breakfast drive back to Arusha for lunch, then continue to the airport for your departure.
