Marangu Day Tour Itinerary
After early morning breakfast, you’ll depart from your hotel in Arusha/Moshi/Kilimanjaro. The journey will take 2 hours drive from Arusha to reach Marangu town.
The activities of the Marangu tour are as follows:
Kilasya Falls: You will hike passing through local banana plantations. You will enjoy the atmosphere uphill with the beauty of the surrounding green nature. You will find clean and cold water coming straight from the mountain drainage. You can have a quick swim and then continue with the exploration and enjoy the all-day activities.
Local coffee plantation tour: You will have an opportunity to pass by a locally owned and operated coffee plantation to get some knowledge on how their daily agricultural activities practiced from the early stages of the plantation up to the processing stage.
Chaga tunnels tour: You will experience the Chagga tribe tradition as you sing and enjoy the dancing moves.
Banana beer tasting: Visit a local banana beer vendor to try this traditional beer.
You will have either a picnic lunch or lunch at a local restaurant.
After your tour ends, you will be driven back to Arusha or Moshi for departure or to relax in your accommodation.
